Back in the 80s the Commodore 64 was introduced and a revolution in computer sound began for it contained the now famous SID chip. In recent years the SID has become very popular again with the release of devices such as the SID Station and the HARD Sid sound card. There are also many progame that emulate the SID.I own a Commodore 128 D which does contain a S.I.D. chip.
