TOP9.v. D.C. - 1/8" TS phone jack. To save on batteries plug in 9 volt DC power supply here. Tip=Positive, Sleeve=Negative

TOPACC. JACK - 5 pin DIN, NOT MIDI? Any ideas?

The most probable explanation come from Paul who says it is for a two button foot switch. One is the same as the Accent button the other triggers the Bass Drum and sets the tempo according to the tempo you tap. His machine has a CASS. INPUT jack (5mm stereo phone jack) that mine does not have. Apparently there are variations on the Synsonics Drums.

TOPACCENT - Hold while pressing CYMBAL/MEMORY Buttons or hitting CYMBAL Drum Pad to change Cymbal sound to High Hat sound.

HOOK-UP: Plug headphones into drum headphone jack. Or plug stereo phono cable into aux. output jacks on drums and aux. input jacks on stereo amp. TO TURN DRUMS ON, rotate Off/On-Volume Control dial. Adjust volume on drums or amp.
TO PLAY, strike CENTER of drum pads. The harder you strike, the louder the drums sound. TO PLAY DRUM ROLLS, press fast, medium or slow drum control keys. (Combine keys to create different drum patterns.) Press Accent key when playing cymbals for "high hat" sound.
TO SET TEMPO, press Bass Off/On key, then Faster or Slower key. Computr automatically plays bass drum at tempo you set. To turn bass drum off, press Bass Off/On key again. With bass ON. press Faster and Slower keys together, to syncronize drums with external tempo. With bass OFF, press Faster and Slower keys together, to manually play bass drum.
TO RECORD, hold down Record key while pressing 1 of 3 memory keys. Record starts 1/2 sec. after Record key is released. Duration of each memory loop is 16 beats of overall tempo. All LEDs flash at start of each loop. Memory loops can be layered indefinitely with drum pad or key play. TO STOP RECORD, press Stop key. All memories are erased when drums are turned off.
TO PLAYBACK, hold down playback tempo by pressing 1 of 3 memory keys. Change playback tempo by pressing Faster or Slower key. TO STOP PLAYBACK, press Stop key.

IF DRUMS MALFUNCTION, TRY FRESH BATTERIES.
ALKALINE BATTERIES RECOMMENDED.
